Five weddings and counting . . .

Last weekend was the busiest so far with one wedding team going to one of my favourite churches, St Sophia’s in Bayswater – it takes my breath away every time I walk in there and almost makes me want to go and have A Big Fat Greek Wedding of my own!

Then it was on to One Great George Street for Pary and Reza’s drinks reception in the Entrance Hall and wedding breakfast up in the stunning Great Hall on the first floor

Meanwhile the rest went east to Cantina Vinopolis in Borough Market, a lovely, cosy venue perfect for the rainy day we had with everyone tucked inside the atmospheric brick walled rooms with tables dressed with ivory vintage candelabra from the immensely helpful Deborah at Wedding Day Hire

Weather was mixed – both rain and showers! – with a little blue sky peeking through from time to time but we were rushing around inside most of the time luckily getting these two very different venues ready to receive guests

I can’t wait until I have photos to show as although the colours used were quite similar, there was a obvious difference between the two weddings – one a little vintage and the other sophisticated London with a Greek flavour

We are not quite at the end of this month but once July is over we will have had five weddings and a funeral . . . and a civil ceremony! Wedding season is definitely here to stay
