Spring has sprung …

Well, we are into wedding season and it doesn’t look like stopping until Christmas! We’ve had a busy couple of weeks here, a lovely wedding at the Mandarin Oriental, a really pretty one at the glorious Hampton Court House where the sun shone all day and many, many corporate dinners, lunches and parties!

First up in this little preview is Katherine and Richard’s wedding at the very glamorous Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge, a firm favourite with Chinese couples and especially so in this lucky year of the Golden Dragon. Here are a few shots from the day – more will follow when their official photographs are available

A classic combination of white Lilies, Hydrangea and Roses with dark green foliage went into the ceremony displays, silver urns on smooth white plinths which were then reused behind the two top tables during the evening

The couple were very specific in their choice of table flowers since we needed to accommodate the serving of an extensive Chinese buffet in the centre of the tables

So elegant glass cake stands were used to raise the flowers up a little and a combination of bright red Freedom Roses, Maiden’s Blush Lilac (one of my favorite flowers at the moment, so delicate), a little pale pink Wax flower and some pale pink Phlox worked together to complement the decor in the rooms.  More photos of the reception and the personal flowers will be posted when I get them
