Crystals and Pearls

An incredibly busy July features this, a beautiful, elegant and supremely classy wedding at One Whitehall in the heart of Westminster

Carla and David are a gorgeous couple who had very strong ideas about the look they wanted for their wedding day and with the aid of the fabulous photographic skills of Fiona Kelly, I’m now very proud to be able to show you what we created for them

Carla’s initial brief was Gatsby … just that and we got it straight away! Elegant and refined with ivory flowers throughout, antique silver tea lights, pearls and crystal rose bowls – what more could a girl want. Except a beautiful floaty dress, sparkly Jimmy Choos and glorious weather … and we had those too! We filled the crystal bowls with Stocks, Hydrangea and Garden Roses whose fragrance filled both the Ceremony and Reception rooms and we dressed the tables with candles, tea lights and strings of pearls

We enjoyed working on this wedding very much and added another happy couple to our portfolio …

‘Thank you very much – for the beautiful flowers and the preparation! We had a lovely day and it was just the way we had imagined. We had so many comments from the guests about the venue, the flowers … Carla and David x

Dartmouth House wedding venue

One of my most favourite places to flower for a wedding is the wonderful Dartmouth House.. set in the heart of Mayfair, it has a lovely history and is currently the home of the English Speaking Union. But it is also a truly fabulous venue in which to get married
