Jubilee Wedding revisited….

No, you aren’t experiencing déjà vu! Yes, we have blogged this wedding before but have recently received new photos from Dianna and Rowland’s fantastic photographer, Aneta Mak.

This was a truly gorgeous wedding and you can now appreciate it in all its glory via Aneta’s lovely photographs. It was a frantic day, installing at 4am to avoid the closing down of the bridges and road surrounding the Queen’s Jubilee Pageant but we made it and the bride and groom were very pleased

The Ballroom at the Mandarin Oriental looked spectacular on such a lovely sunny day and Dianna’s choice of cream, taupe and vanilla flowers worked a treat. We created soft balls of hydrangea, roses and orchids on top of tall silver candlesticks for the tables, enormous Gypsophilia balls on plinths for the ceremony and precious details of silvered vases and votives everywhere with heads of peonies and roses amid twinkling candlelight

The little touches that the couple put into the wedding from the statuesque painted willow message tree to the tiny favour steamer boxes to the handmade table plan made the whole wedding very special and unique – we hope you like what you see.

Dartmouth House wedding venue

One of my most favourite places to flower for a wedding is the wonderful Dartmouth House.. set in the heart of Mayfair, it has a lovely history and is currently the home of the English Speaking Union. But it is also a truly fabulous venue in which to get married
