Christmas Wreath Workshops

Crafty creative types are in for a treat this Christmas. For those looking for a creative activity around the festive holidays, we are running a series of wreath-making workshops

Berrilicious - a xmas wreath with berries and skimmia

The workshops run from 10-1pm, for small groups of six to eight, cost £45 per head and are based at our workshop at New Covent Garden Flower Market, in all its twinkling and festive glory, a truly magical place. The workshop will address wiring techniques, examples of finished wreaths and the various styles that can be achieved. Materials will be provided and Liz will provide step-by-step demonstrations, as well as personal tuition to produce the perfect, truly unique holiday wreath

Refreshments and morning pastries will be provided and participants will of course be able to take their work home with them to proudly display to friends and family. The wreaths should last right up until Christmas

The workshops will show just how delightful and unique Christmas wreaths can be. Participants can choose between making a traditional wreath, which would usually include a variety of foliage, fir cones, cinnamon, whole oranges or apples; or something more contemporary featuring colourful twigs, baubles, sprayed fir cones, ribbons, birds – almost anything goes!

The workshops, running on 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th December, would make a unique seasonal hen party or just a fun day out with friends.

To book your place on our wreath-making workshop, or enquire about other workshops please contact Liz on liz@blueskyflowers.co.uk or call 07973 601 045

Dartmouth House wedding venue

One of my most favourite places to flower for a wedding is the wonderful Dartmouth House.. set in the heart of Mayfair, it has a lovely history and is currently the home of the English Speaking Union. But it is also a truly fabulous venue in which to get married
