I am delighted to be able to share a beautiful styled shoot that I put together last Autumn with the talents of Claire Graham and Emma Riddell from Goose and Berry. Claire and I had discussed working on a couple of shoots and as it turned out, we did them both on the same day at the same venue … but they couldn’t be more different! This one has just featured in You & Your Wedding September/October 2016 issue and is sooooo pretty!!
We brought together a fantastic selection of suppliers who absolutely nailed the brief of soft, delicate, pared-back elegance. We wanted to show you could make a statement without drama and I think we did pretty well …
Our venue was the stunning Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park, a beautiful white painted mansion overlooking rolling greenery that really belies the fact it is just a few miles from the centre of London. Part of the Coco Wedding Venues portfolio it is a wonderful place to get married
For the flowers I chose a light palette of silvery grey Senecio and Dusty Miller foliage, fronds of Asparagus Fern and Queen Anne’s Lace along with delicate white Scabious and Anemones, fluffy Dahlia and Astilbe with super-fragrant David Austin Patience Roses highlighted with wonderful chocolate-scented Cosmos … yum!
Our wedding cake of choice for the day was provided by the lovely Susie at SK Cakes who transformed a simple wedding cake into a work of cloudy art … and there were cookies to match too
Our bride wore the powder blue tulle ballgown from Two Birds Bridesmaids – yep, the one with the multi-wrap options! – and there really are hundreds of different ways to wear these amazing dresses. And the best thing… your bridesmaids will want to wear them after the wedding!
So that’s it, I hope you like what we’ve done? If you’d like to know who did what check them all out below x
