Hala and Tarek married at One Whitehall Place in Spring and chose a collection of elegant, classic flowers for their wedding as after all this venue is very traditional and quite formal. Its historic rooms and characterful décor is perhaps not for the fainthearted but gives itself perfectly as the backdrop to a dramatic wedding
Can we first talk about that dress though! Wow! Vera oh Vera, you did it again… Hala looked stunning and Katy Lunsford’s wonderful photography style captured everything beautifully
I just love this shot of Tarek checking the blossom – I think he is supposed to be paying attention to the Registrar!
The awesome Reading and Writing Room hosted the ceremony and we opted for soft florals throughout…. delicate gyp posies on the gold Chivari chairs, statement urns of blossom and magnolia branches and lily of the valley flanked the Registrar’s table. Now about that blossom, as I said before, the groom was very particularly that we have blossom but it being the end of April, it was impossible to predict if there would be any left on the trees … so we compromised and used faux blossom with real foliage and branches… that’s why he is checking, he can’t believe it isn’t real!
Once the ceremony was over, we moved the large displays into the equally stunning and dramatic Gladstone Library, which was filled with atmospheric lighting and glamorous tables of pure white Phalaenopsis Orchids, Calla Lilies, Hydrangea and Roses … masses of candles and gold tea lights added to the magical effect
We filled the entrance and surrounding rooms with candles and fragrant Roses and Sweet Peas, everywhere you looked was very pretty and elegant
It really was a spring wedding to remember and all worth it for the loveliest couple x
