I ran quite a few workshops last year and each time, someone... and often more than one someone.... said what else do you teach, I'd like to come back?
So finally I've managed to put together a rough schedule of sorts for 2018... it is flexible and changeable as you want it to be, so please email for more information and I hope to see some of you during the year
Wiring Workshop for Florists
Having just run the first of these this year, I can say that they are both enormous fun and very helpful for florists who either haven't learned these skills or need a bit of a reminder
We start with a bit of a finger warm up by going over wiring techniques for buttonholes, corsages and flower crowns, then we start to wire up flowers and foliage for your bouquets
Then whilst you grab a bite for lunch and refreshments, I will demonstrate a trailing wired bouquet before you make your own in the afternoon... my assistants and I will be on hand throughout to guide, help and encourage you through this wonderful process
Autumn Bridal Workshop
You will make a beautiful handtied bridal bouquet using the best flowers Autumn has to offer and then the lovely Sophie Taylor, of A Little Bird Press, will teach you the beginnings of Calligraphy so you can perhaps write your own placecards or tableplan... or even little notes to your bridesmaids or husband!
Date and location to be confirmed
Christmas Wreath Workshops
Each and every year, I can't believe just how fast the time to make wreaths comes around! And I still get emails in June from both new and previous attendees to say when can they book for this year, so here we go...
You will be shown how to create your own door wreath using wiring techniques and a really wide range of foliage, florals and decorative bits to make something truly unique
All tools and materials will be supplied along with a bag in which to take it home, refreshments and a glass of bubbly on arrival plus cake and mince pies
