Glorious Summer Wedding at Cowdray House

When Louise Perry asked if I was available for this wedding date, I think I would have cleared my diary if necessary. Louise is a seasoned pro at Marquee weddings... its amazing what you need to know to make sure everything runs smoothly!

Working with such a fantastic planner as Louise, and her team, means a lot to a busy wedding florist and I always love her brides!

And Maddie did not disappoint! We met up in the Spring when she came over from the States to look at flowers and talk logistics... I was totally in love with her energy and character from the get go

These images from the wonderful Alex James (and the film of the day from The Filming Business) were far from disappointing too... they really capture the essence of the day, from rain to shine, happy tears to even happier smiles. Jewish weddings to me are all about family and Jew-ish weddings just as much so... the unite-ing of these two families was fabulous, full of life characters and accents from all over,.. just what a wedding should be - full of fun and laughter... and love!

Maddie's posse of bridesmaids and men started the party really early when they were getting ready and being glammed by Tori Harris and her team

The beautiful tear-jerking service was performed by the lovely Julia Hill and once the rain had subsided, Maddie's mum and dad escorted her down the aisle to meet Simon, whilst the Niche London Quartet played on the terrace

The pure joy and excitement on this pair's faces was absolutely contagious and the fragrance from the hundreds of English grown garden roses was intoxicating! (Thanks Real Flower Co and Usk Valley Roses)

We dressed the aisle with little gardens and jars of fragrant roses on the cross-back chairs which we're then moved to the entrance of the marquee from Inside Outside (production by Lighting with Intent)

With catering from the incredible Caper & Berry, beautiful stationery from B by Nicki and music to come from Get Funked, the day was only going to get better looking and sounding! x
