The reason for using this Gallic phrase is because I would like to welcome you en France this December for a little festive creativity and fun
Chateau de la Ruche in the Pays de la Loire, 30 minutes from Le Mans, is a beautiful, part restored chateau owned and run by a lovely English family, Beck and Tim and their two boys... plus Monty the dog and Jennifer the cat
Back in the Spring Rachel Overall at Mirabella Weddings and I ran a styled shoot at the Chateau aided and abetted by the fabulous photographer Beccy Goddard whose photos you see here
Whilst there we hatched a plan to return.... and would like you to come along to dress the Chateau for Christmas and learn some creative skills to use at your home over the festive period
We will welcome you on Monday afternoon, settle you into your room and you will have a local Loire wine tasting opportunity before a fabulous dinner cooked by Beck
Tuesday will start with a little forage in the Chateau's grounds for materials to make wreaths, garlands and table displays and to take home at the end of your stay
Rachel will show you how to create a fabulous festive grazing tablescape and dress our dinner tables and there will also be an opportunity to try your hand at calligraphy which will make writing all those present labels so much prettier
There will be mulled wine, mince pies, hearty French food and plenty of wine by the fire
Dates are December 3-5, tickets are 600 euros per person and include 2 nights at the Chateau, with all meals and drinks, all tuition, flowers, foliage and fun... oh sorry materials!
There will most likely be an option to stay on for a third night which can be booked seperately
I strongly advise driving down since there will be stuff to take home and you could always take the opportunity to spend couple of extra days exploring the fabulous local area... its around 4 hours' drive from the tunnel at Calais
